Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of luxembourgforfamilyoffice.lu, published by Luxembourg For Family Office a.s.b.l. (“the association”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Using the site

You may read the site, and download or print material from it, for your own personal or professional reference. You may not:

  • republish, redistribute or commercially exploit material from the site without our written consent;
  • present the association’s material as your own, or remove attribution from it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, including members-only material;
  • use automated means to harvest content or personal data from the site;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Member accounts

Some material is reserved to members of the association. Where you are given an account:

  • your credentials are personal to you and must not be shared;
  • you are responsible for activity carried out under your account;
  • you must tell us promptly at secretariat@luxembourgforfamilyoffice.lu if you believe your credentials have been compromised;
  • we may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached, or where membership ends.

Membership and partnership applications

Submitting an application through this site does not create a membership. Applications are considered by the association, and admission, the applicable fees and the rights attaching to each category are governed by the association’s statutes and internal rules, not by this site. Fees shown on the site are indicative and may change.

Publications and research

The papers, studies and guidance published on this site reflect the views of their authors at the time of writing. They are provided for professional information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

Events

Details of events may change. Where separate registration terms apply to an event, those terms prevail over these for that event.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including material in the Library, at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Luxembourg law, the association is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, or from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies, and the date above shows when it last changed.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City.
